Junior Renewable Energy Technician in Dallas, TX

Our Dallas, TX client is seeking to directly hire Junior Renewable Energy Technician.

International company is looking for (2) Junior Renewable Energy Technician/Operator's in their Dallas office. These are immediate need positions and will be filled ASAP. Company offers excellent benefits and compensation. There is aggressive growth within the group as well as externally, so the potential for advancement is high. The pace of this job is considered to be medium to high. Training will be provided on-site. These positions will be responsible to cover the night shift during the week as well as both the day and night shifts on the weekends.

OVERVIEW: Under the direction of the BOP Lead, operators will perform turbine resets and site call outs. Operators will also act as a central safety call in for project managers performing high voltage switching.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
24/7 remote monitoring of all company wind plants; remote turbine resets per site procedure; making after hour call outs per site procedure; will act as a safety contact during high voltage resets and after hour events for the project manager per site procedure. Operators are responsible for reporting shift events to the appropriate project manager; will monitor site security systems; will assist Data Analyst with various projects; will assist Asset Manager with various projects

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read and comprehend all site procedures. (different sites have different turbine manufacturers, hence different procedures)

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

*Successful completion of all training, education courses and/or skill level testing required by the Company for entry into this position
*Above average communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Proficient in use of personal computers (i.e., Windows environment, word processing and spreadsheet applications). Must have above average knowledge: Excel, MS Word, MS Project.
*Previous operations experience of wind plants is a huge plus.
