Our client is a large, Fortune 500 Company that is responsible for owning the strategic and technical Business Intelligence implementations. In this role, candidate will assist various levels of a company's executives, directors, managers, and analysts to implement dynamic software solutions using various internal and third-party software applications and approaches.
Candidate will be asked to utilize proven implementation methodologies (Define, Plan, Design, Build, & Deploy) and Enterprise wide tools. In addition, the Candidate may provide sales support, and onsite education. Using your experience, you will implement reporting analytics, scorecard, EIS, budgeting, planning and consolidations applications.
The position requires a balance of strong technical and interpersonal skills with proven business awareness and customer advocacy. This includes assisting the partner in developing a Business Intelligence / Performance Management product and integration strategy. You will be working with Sales, Product Management and Development organizations of some of the top companies in the world with the goal of assisting in the architecting of a highly valuable and integrated solution. This also includes proactively working to find opportunities for partners to leverage additional Cognos capabilities.
Minimum Required Skills:
-- 10+ years Information Technology experience.
-- 5+ years of Pre-sales experience and Management. Ability to perform demonstrations, proofs of concept, and prototyping;
-- Strong understanding of system architecture and design a plus;
-- Solid Experience (5-10 Years) with software architecture, data architecture, business intelligence and Performance management;
-- Excellent documentation skills are required.
-- Superior presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-- Understanding of Business Intelligence and Reporting products.
-- Skilled in "Best Practices" for large-scale applications.
-- Proficient with MS Office suite.
-- Highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills dedicated to completing tasks on schedule.
Desired:
Big 4 consulting experience would be an asset.
Prior consulting experience, a strong plus.
Knowledge of Business Intelligence products is a plus.
Education:
-- BS or BA, desirable.
