JCPenney has an immediate opening for a Mid level SharePoint Portal admin.

DESCRIPTION:
Analyzes, evaluates, develops, customizes, installs, implements and maintains computing systems, platforms, and infrastructure in accordance with customer requirements and organizational methodologies and standards. Works with IT and business units to define, analyze, and deliver customer requirements.

Education:
B.S./B.A. in computer science, engineering, information systems preferred, and/or equivalent formal training or work
experience.

Experience:
*5-7 years' proven software and/or hardware system design, installation, configuration, maintenance, support, planning and system management experience.
*SharePoint Portal Admin with experience in a large load balanced web farm environment.
*Successful at designing, implementing and supporting a high availability SharePoint production environment.
*Proven ability to interface directly with end users as well as development and test teams as well as oversee our test environment, including a change control process consisting of test to staging to production.
*Experience in other Microsoft messaging products such as Exchange 2003 or Live Communication Server 2005 a plus.
*Excellent partnering, negotiation, and communication skills.
