Growing Financial Services Company is looking for a Server Engineer. The Server and Network Engineer’s role is to ensure proper server and network operation to accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving automated monitoring alerts, system updates and end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level where needed.

VMWare ESX 3.0 configuration and administration
In addition, installation, configuration, implementation and maintenance of data storage architecture, IP voice systems and server virtualization as well as network administration including configuration of routers, switches and security appliances are key job requirements.
A qualified candidate must have a minimum of 4 years working experience and proficiency with Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory and Exchange 2003 administration and two years working experience with VMWare ESX, Cisco network routing, switching and security. 3Com switching experience is a plus. Individual should be a self-starter, with excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as good problem-solving skills and must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
