Position is Project Manager, Open Systems Engineering
-Lead projects and process improvement initiatives for our midrange technical support organization
-Initial focus will be on Compliance and process improvement initiatives;
-Security and Audit (compliance for ACS security policies, server hardening, SAS70 and Sarbanes-Oxley audit requirements)
-ITIL best practices and ISO 20000 compliance for existing ACS standards
Requirements:
-Proven leadership skills; management, team leadership or project management
-PM certification not required but would be a plus.
-Experience leading technical projects is an important requirement.
-Strong administration skills; organizational, work multiple tasks and priorities
-Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills; written and verbal, negotiation, communication on multiple levels to technical staff, line management and executive management
-IT Technical background; either systems support, PM for technical projects or management role in technical environment
-OSE supports UNIX servers for the AIX, HP-UX, Solaris and Linux operating systems. We also support OpenVMS and iSeries/AS400 servers.
-Experience in support or management for a midrange computing environment is critical
-The most important technical requirement is for the candidate to understand the type of work done by systems administrators and the major components of the midrange computing environment and how they integrate (servers, SAN storage, network, backup)
