Director of Engagment Manager in Dallas, TX

Our Dallas client is looking to hire a Director of Engagment Manager.


POSITION SUMMARY:



The Director of Engagement Manager is responsible for managing pre- and post-sales customer engagements of company technology solutions and assists in prioritizing "market-driven" solution enhancements in concert with those of company's existing business model and clientele.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



Ø Creates a technology road map that leads to the development of a data model, mapping of critical data sources, hardware recommendations, data flow and connectivity architecture for contact point alignment and synchronization, Business Intelligence tools evaluation and development of an implementation plan and budget.

Ø Manages client expectations relating to system enhancements.

Ø Provides marketing and sales pursuit team support, including writing responses to RFPs, and presenting technology solutions.

Ø Provides an evaluation of client's current state of CRM tools, "use intent", and implementation progress (including infrastructure, communications, process controls, flexibility and growth potential).

Ø Evaluates underlying technologies to support CRM communications plans and recommendations for optimization.

Ø Prepares implementation estimates and implementation cost control.

Ø Establishes vendor/partner communications associated with planning and implementation.

Ø Provides forward planning recommendations on the future state of infrastructure, communications, process controls, flexibility and growth potential.

Ø Responsible for Technology Execution management Ø Participates in speaking engagements relative to industry product and solution education. Conducts "on screen" product line demonstrations.

Ø Maintains strong "consultative" selling skills.

Ø Executes consultative projects and services such as leading needs assessments and requirements gathering sessions. Liaison within Client company to other departments for purposes of communicating solution plans and expectations.

Ø Collaborates with other company's competencies to provide technology thought leadership that leads to enhanced cross-competency relationships, technology adoption, and the creation of innovative client solutions.




QUALIFICATIONS:



Ø Minimum requirements include 12-15+ years architecting, integrating and delivering customer-centric solutions for data warehousing, campaign management, business intelligence, and online solutions that scale from single brands to enterprise levels. Overall experience should cover all areas of project lifecycle, from inception through production launch and maintenance.



Ø Preferred requirements include a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or in-depth applied industry experience



Ø Possess thorough understanding of engagement management lifecycles relative to all development and delivery systems and potential integration with third party products



Ø Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and a strong history of effective team building



Ø Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to "customer" as well as "market-driven" processes of product and engagement evolution



Ø Strong "consultative" selling skills



Ø Experience in managing beta site programs with OEMs, Integrators and strategic Client accounts



Ø Must be comfortable working with technology consultants, database managers and engineering teams to help integrate engagement priorities into timeframes for consistently reaching developmental milestones



Ø Possess a working knowledge of Unix "open systems", relational database, Business Intelligence, distributed object and multi-tiered systems integration issues. Data mining a plus.
