The Backup Team is a fast paced team supporting ACS's dynamic backup environments. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys assisting corporate uses, developing new skills, and working with a broad array of technologies.
Major Responsibilities
1. Perform daily backups, data recovery, and all associated reporting.
2. Install configure, and maintain storage hardware and software systems as appropriate.
3. Understand general disaster recovery and business continuity practices.
4. Perform on-call rotation and duties.
Education/Skills/Experience Required:
o IBM TSM 5.x. Symantec NetBackup, Symantec BackupExec, or HP Data Protector experience a plus.
o In depth understanding of the AIX platform.
o Basic knowledge of networking technologies.
o Storage networking technologies related to Storage Area Networks, to include fibre channel.
