Leading Hedge fund is looking for a Web Developer to join their growing team.
All qualified candidates will have experience with the following:
Qualifications
• Knowledge with:
o ASP.Net 2.0
o C#
o AJAX
o SQL Server 2000/2005
• Financial services domain experience desired (hedge fund, investment bank experience a plus)
• 2-4 years of experience in development of websites
• BS or BA in Computer Science, MIS or Engineering
• Object Oriented design and development techniques
Responsibilities
• Work directly with the various business units to gather requirements and lead design discussions
• Design and develop web interfaces using the latest technologies to provide a rich, robust and responsive user experience
• Leverage technical knowledge and expertise to recommend solutions to fit the needs of end users
• Work closely with other development staff to assist in tasks outside the web realm as needed
• Ability to develop solutions for loosely defined specs, with only high level direction
• Holistic approach to solving problems
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Reliable, ability to self-manage
• Partner with various groups across the firm about business needs
• Ability to articulately communicate with users and understand the business needs
• Planning and prioritizing development tasks based on business requirements and priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
