Our North Dallas client seeks a website developer/IT Technician. For website work, this person will need to be able to:ü Create and modify new and existing websites to increase traffic and secure new clientsü Create and improve content, layout, visual appearance and usability of firm websitesü Ensure websites are effective in attracting visitors and obtaining new clients and high in search results rankings through knowledge and use of effective techniques includingo Writing content when neededo Optimizing keywords and using proper meta tagso Creating proper, i.e., well-formed, clean HTML, ASP, PHP and CSS code and cleaning up improper code; removing negative search engine practices from websiteso Updating and properly formatting all title tagso Updating/using proper search engine robot commandso Ensuring that search engine bots are allowed to crawl our sites appropriately and that major bots are not prohibited from indexing our siteso Using robot.txt files and/or meta tags to control how crawlers index our sites and submitting our sites to relevant search directorieso Creating site maps and submitting these maps to search engineso Learn advanced website development and design skills to support the firm in its marketing effortsFor IT Tech work, this person will need toü Provide primary technical support and customer service to users. Be punctual and in attendance on a regular basis to support staff membersü Respond to questions from callers and walk-ins; directly and remotely assist users with technology problems in on-site and off-site locationsü Learn operations of commonly used software, hardware, phones, copiers, fax machines and other equipment as neededü Assume responsibility for assisting in the maintenance of the IT infrastructure and help ensure that it is ready for use with minimal downtimeü Restart frozen computers, stock paper and toner in printers and faxesü Assist in the enforcement of IT policiesü Manage the circulation, inventory and distribution of headsets, manuals and other materials as appropriateü Become familiar with available Help Desk resources; stay updated on firm technology changes, problems and issuesü Become familiar with firm policies, services and staffü Direct calls to the IT Administrator as necessaryü Maintain discipline and decorum in all work areasü Handle other duties as assigned by the IT Administrator or other firm staffü Two to five years of experience in the fieldApply Herehttp://www.maxhire.net/cp/?E55F68361E43717B7D50126539511D6A482C77Please visit us on the web at www.frontlinesourcegroup.comEqual Opportunity Employer, M/F/V/D.
