My client is one of the largest medical device companies in the world and a leader in sales of diagnostic imaging, patient monitoring, ultrasound, and healthcare MIS systems. They also offer a full range of defibrillators including sophisticated multifunction monitor/defibrillators used by healthcare professionals and emergency response personnel.They are in need of a great IT Technical Consultant to be the tecnical expert in the sales process with great knowledge of data management products, ethernet LAN and wireless LAN networking standards (802.11), cellular network topologies (CDMA & GSM) and applicable transmission standards (1XRTT & GPRS). A knowledge of HIPAA, Electronic Patient Care Record (EPCR) software systems, cardiac monitoring and defibrillation equipment is a deciding plus but not required. This role will accompany Account Managers on presentations of sophisticated 12-lead defibrillators and responsible for presenting the full networking solution that accompanies this system. The ability to tailor presentations and sell the benefits of this system and solution is key, so a strong background in front of the customer is a must. Compensation will be a base salary of 80-90k + annual 10% bonus, full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k), and a company car. Territory is the western half of the US and candidate can expect to travel up to 50% of the time. Territory includes Dallas, Denver, Seattle, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Los Angeles and candidate must be located (or willing to relocate) to one of the western states.
Experience: Required:1- Must have IT background preferrably in cellular technology world with great knoweldge of wireless networking and transmission including 802.11, CDMA, GSM, GPRS, and 1XRTT.2- Great experience presenting IT solutions to enterprise or healthcare customers with outstanding presence during technical presentations.3- Tremendous communications skills and great background presenting solutions to everyone from IT department to C-level4- Leadership skills, team player, and a desire to work within a dynamic healthcare organization that produces products and services that save lives5- 5+ years overall IT/networking experience plus minimum Bachelor's degreeDesired:A background presenting IT solutions to healthcare customers (hospitals, first responders, outpatient clinics)
