Genesis10 is in need of an RPG Developer for a major client in Plano, Texas. Client will consider either contract-to-hire or full-time for this opportunity. As the RPG Developer, you must have 5+ years of RPG ILE (Integrated Language Environment) with JD Edwards (JDE) experience (7.3 preferred). In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing complex information processing solutions; providing technical expertise for integrated systems applications throughout the development life cycle; and providing leadership to less experienced programmer/analysts.
Accountabilities
- Develop and implement moderately to highly complex technical and business solutions.
- Assess customer requirements and develop project deliverables to support solution.
- Interact with affected applications to ensure appropriateness of approach and identify, and document outstanding issues.
- Develop accurate level of effort for small projects and assist in developing accurate level of effort for large projects.
- Identify and implement performance enhancements.
- Provide production support for assigned systems.
- Lead small projects and provide leadership and guidance to other programmer/analysts.
- Prioritize tasks within a project.
- Follow department/company standards and policies and lead others in adherence to them.
- Demonstrate knowledge of industry.
- Maintain inter-application perspective.
- Develop customer relationships.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- 5+ years of RPG ILE (Integrated Language Environment).
- JD Ewards (JDE) experience (7.3 preferred).
