Business Systems Analyst in Dallas, TX

National property management firm is seeking an experienced business systems analyst to join the team on a full time basis. the business system's analyst role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The business systems analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.

The job role includes meeting with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues; leading design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow; reviewing and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems; collaborating in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications; preparing and delivering reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization; create system design proposals; performing cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions; and creating systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers. Experience: Requirements include either a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, including 3 + years of business analysis experience. Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development required. Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products and the ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language required.
