Ajilon Consulting is looking for a S/W Engineer for one of our reputed clients in Dallas, TX.
The software Engineer will be joining a team that supports supports several crew training, scheduling, attendance tracking and crew bidding (for select groupings of flights) applications. A majority of the applications are witten in Java with approximately 6 VB6 applications.
They will be doing a conversion of the exisiting VB applications to Java and also support a VB6 Tiered application that is distributed to approximately 400 Customers (administrative users) across the system.
This is a 6 months contract in Dallas , Texas, previous airlines experience is a huge plus.
Must be willing to work on W2.
Below are the technical skills required for the job:
Java
VB 6
COM+
Working with relational databases, preferably Oracle and Sybase
Gap Analysis of existing software to current and future designs.
You must be willing to relocate at your own expenses for the contract.
