If interested, please apply on-line or send a Word doc of your resume to: (see below) Description:The Portal Functional Analyst needs to be able to support and manage Portal initiative efforts in a large IT environment. The Portal Functional Analyst needs to be proficient in Portal and Web applications. The Portal Functional Analyst needs to understand the ERP systems, integrations concepts, and web development concepts. In addition to this, Portal Functional Analyst needs to be able to perform:- User Support in troubleshooting both application and business process issues- Document business process using standard business process and data flow diagrams- Using standard methodologies, analyze user operational procedures to develop functional systems requirements, and advise and instruct other staff responsible for such development- Ensure the development team has the information needed to complete the project- Coordinate and conduct user support and training- Identify and document application integration requirements - Identify innovative solutions to business issues in technical development- Improve process flow and user documentation for Portal and enhance user knowledge and competency- Other duties as assigned based on business needs (ie special projects, Enhancements etc.)- Maintain a stable and accurate Portal production instance that meets the customers needs - Create and manage Oracle Metalink Service Requests as required. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:-4 to 5 years of experience in the areas of project management, technical business analysis and design of the Portal.-Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other related field-Experience in implementation of web applications and portal development projects.?-Experience integrating portal applications with ERP systems particularly with Oracle E-Business Suite-Experience in the creation of Functional Requirements Documents-Must have solid understanding of portal and web technology. -Must be able to translate business requirements into functional specifications to improve and expand the Portal. -Must have an excellent ability to communicate (both verbal and written) with both technical and non-technical staff.-Must be able to effectively communicate with end users on how the Oracle Portal applications can assist in supporting their needs.-Oracle Portal and Oracle E-Business Suite experience-MBA preferred The Adecco Group is a Fortune 500 Global company and the leader in HR services.
