VP Enterprise Business Intelligence (Modeling) *Please note this organization requires Mortgage Servicing Experience Job Description The essential responsibility of VP Enterprise Business Intelligence (Modeling) is to manage the process of:o Creating and maintaining models and model parameters for various models such as:o forecasting prepayment speeds, delinquencies and defaults; o pricing for new whole loan and MSR acquisitionso market value slippageo risk scoring of loans in the portfolioo cash flow forecastingo Correlations between macro economic variables (like unemployment, interest rate change) and their impact on portfolio prepayment and delinquency rateso Analyze and forecast advance and cash requirements for the business.o Providing analyses and reporting on an adhoc basis to assist in making strategic and/or significant operational decisionsExpert qualifications in the followingDevelop/Design/Improve automated decision models. Build and implement pricing models by performing risk analytics. Determine model inputs, including prepayment, delinquency and default vectors. Ensure data integrity for the data sourced from servicing system and other supporting sub-systems Design reports and metrics to measure process performance in terms of volume, accuracy, timeliness and efficiency. Respond to the need of management and external entities for data, analytical and quantitative support. Summary of qualifications and job function: Provide forecasting and modeling support to all business units in the organization. Manage a staff of analysts and modelers. Translate business needs into technical and modeling requirements and ensure requirements conform to overall objectives and specifications. Manage assignments, technical/functional content and resourcing. Maintain and expand both internal and external client relationships through the delivery of high quality work. Seek, obtain, monitor and analyze feedback from clients to improve systems and reporting. Provide support relevant to areas of expertise. Responsible for planning, organizing and leading tasks and projects, and ensuring the quality of the deliverables. Job Requirements Proficiency in the use of SAS, SQL, Access, and Excel. Knowledge of Business Objects, Hyperion or similar BI (Business Intelligence)/analyses tool. Knowledge of automated analysis and modeling tools. Experience in business process analysis and improvement strategies. Masters degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field. 4+ years of hands-on experience in analytics, forecasting, modeling and reporting in financial services, mortgage banking experience preferred. 7+ years of total work experience, with experience in mortgage banking highly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create, compose and edit written materials and presentations. Experience in working in a global environment - with staff disbursed in multiple offices over the world is a plus.
