Responsibilities for this position include: design, develop, tune, and maintain SQL Server databases that support a variety of marketing analysis applications; create, test, implement, and maintain stored procedures; use data transformation services (DTS) to import and export data. This individual will also work with application developers to develop and implement solutions and ensure that standards for database performance, availability, and security are being met. You will mentor other team members on various aspects of SQL Server. This is a great opportunity for the right individual to have a real impact.Qualified individuals will possess strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, strong stored procedure skills, and a solid understanding of SQL Server locking, indexing and error handling. A strong understanding of how to maximize SQL Server application scalability, performance, recoverability, and maintainability is required.
