? The Consulting Engineer serves as a key member of the team responsible for the implementation and customization of a Network Automation System toolset on customer premises. ? Candidate will be working directly with the customer and should be comfortable representing the company. ? Ideal candidates will have expert level network and system administration. Key Responsibilities ? Install and configure software on client premises ? Develop PERL and shell scripts for automation of network configuration management.
Requirements:
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of and hands on experience in the following areas: ? Network configuration and troubleshooting on large IP networks. DNS and DHCP administration experience a plus. ? Automation of common tasks with Perl, Python, shell scripts, VB script and batch files. ? Common internet protocols including HTTP, SSL, and SOAP/XML-RPC/Web Services ? Device specific administration and engineering experience such as Cisco, Nortel, Juniper, F5, Checkpoint, Netscreen, ? Strong grasp of networking concepts such as ACLs, Filters, Firewall Rules, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Multicast ? Network Device Certifications are a major plus o Cisco Certification ? CCNA, CCNP, CCDA, CCDP, CCIE, CCSP, CCIP o Checkpoint Certification ? CCSA, CCSE o Security Certification ? CISSP o Juniper Certification ? JNCIS, JNCIA, JNCIP, JNCIA ? Experience with device Element Managers such as o CiscoWorks, Nortel Optivity, Epicenter ? Experience with leading Network Management Systems including o HP Open View, SMARTS, Micromuse Netcool, Remedy, Peregrine, TACACS, Radius ? Scripting with PERL, Expect, and Sql ? System administration with UNIX, Linux, and Windows ? Ability to work with customer teams with outstanding verbal and written communication skills ? Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent ? US government active security clearance or the ability to be cleared for government work a major plus
