"Professional position for a highly motivated, energetic team player working in a fast paced environment of a major financial institution. Responsible for accurately and efficiently answering general information questions, assisting clients with inquiries regarding their accounts, facilitating requests and processing non-solicited equity, option and index option orders in client directed brokerage accounts following the established policies and procedures of the corporation and its various regulatory agencies.
The successful candidate will work from their home interfacing with customers via inbound and outbound calls or the Internet as a home-based worker for the purposes of resolving routine problems with products or services.
X Provide responsive and accurate client service via the telephone regarding general account management and activity issues.
"X Possess a working knowledge of technology and be able to operate in an environment requiring intermediate computer skills.
"X Process non-solicited client directed orders on the following types of securities:
o Equities traded on U.S. exchanges and Over-The-Counter markets. (NASDAQ, OTC, AMEX, etc.)
o Bulletin Board Securities
o Equity Options
o Index Options
"X Provide accurate price quotes and client account information regarding account balances, positions, existing orders etc.
"X Process client orders placed via various electronic systems.
"X Assess the corporationi:s risk exposure associated with each order.
"X Adhere to established company policies and procedures regarding the placement of trades on behalf of the corporationi:s clients.
"X Participate in other critical areas within the company as required. Other areas could include, but are not limited to responding to electronic inquiries, clearing functions and new account development or retention.
"X Must be self-motivated and client service oriented
"X Must be adept at communicating market information for interpretation by the client.
"X Must demonstrate appropriate analytical skills and attention to detail.
"X Must be able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure while remaining client focused.
"X Additional responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the immediate supervisor.
Experience: "X College degree is preferred. A minimum of two years college or equivalent experience will be considered.
"X Must possess, or obtain, Series 7 (Registered Representative) and Series 63 (State Securities Registration) licenses.
"X Minimum of two years client service experience preferred.
"X Must have general knowledge of the securities industry
"X Must have general account management skills
"X Must understand the basic principles of equity, option and mutual fund transactions
"X Must possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
"X Must possess excellent multi-tasking skills while demonstrating strict attention to detail.
"X Must possess outstanding communication, listening and analytical skills.
"X Must possess the ability to operate as a member of a team and willingness to contribute to the team and assist others when required.
"X Must demonstrate a positive and professional image at all times.
"X Must have a quiet home-office environment to take calls uninterrupted during your scheduled working hours
"X Must own a PC-compatible computer with Windows XP or 2000
"X Must have DSL or Cable high-speed Internet service in the home
"X Must have experience using Microsoft Office Applications, the Internet and Microsoft Internet Explorer
"X Must be proficient in using a personal computer and various database management programs and Internet browser based applications
"X Must have or be willing to add a second phone line in the home for call center work exclusively
"X Spanish language proficiency a plus
"X Ability to effectively communicate on the phone in an understandable manner in English
