BO Architect in Dallas, TX

The incumbent will have strong Business Object Architecture end to end experience including:

*Installation/configuration/upgrades/performance tuning/load balancing/capacity planning

* Troubleshooting of servers including XiR2

* Ability to configure optimal user friendly universes

* BO best practices development knowledge with ability to implement and mentor others

* Broadcast agent knowledge

* Demonstrated ability to support full-client/ZABO/WEBI/Admin console/Supervisor

* Demonstrated ability to develop full-client and WEBI reports

* Previous experience utilizing Designer modules for universe design)

* Strong understanding, knowledge and hands-on Data Warehousing Architecture experience.

* Must have strong understanding of all fundamental principals within an enterprise datawarehouse of at least a terabytes in size where contingent factors affect mission critical business.

* Ideal candidate will have impeccable communication and presentation skills and will have a strong understanding and/ or experience within a retail EDW group.

Required Skills: Business Objects 6.1.B, Architecture, Administration, Conversion, Webi, Zabo, SQL, Oracle

Technical Knowledge/ Skills:
* 5 + years experience with Relational and Multi-Dimensional Database Technologies and Data Warehousing technologies such as Oracle and Essbase.
* 5 + years experience with three or more of Decision Support and Analytical reporting tools, Data Extraction/ Transformation / Loading (ETL) tools (PREFER DATASTAGE), Metadata Mgmt, Information Portals and Object-Oriented techniques & Business Objects, Rational Rose.
* 3 - 5+ years experience with data and object modeling, database and data warehouse design, database performance tuning, data summarization techniques.
* 3 - 5+ years experience in analyzing, designing, developing, planning, recommending and implementing enterprise systems and solutions.
