Quality Assurance/Business Analyst
Location: Dallas, TX
Required Skills:
- Real-world experience in automation of software quality assurance is absolutely required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of Business Analyst experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of Quality Assurance (software testing) experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Some travel may be required - could be up to 3 days/month, occasional international but mostly domestic
- BA Degree - more of a minimum requirement so not required if the candidate has the experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- gather and document end user requirements
- assure the web applications we deliver meet all the customer defined project requirements and operate perfectly in the production environment
- assure substantiating documentation is maintained on all projects
This will involve direct hands on participation in product testing and testing design (both manual and automated).
Job Summary:
By necessity, this person will participate in the clear delineation of requirements, specification, and gap analysis. This effort will involve our customer liaison (and at times the customer themselves), the development team, and the program manager. This person must be able to comprehend, document, and articulate the customers requirements in face-to-face meetings.
Generally, this person will assist in creating the design documentation as well as utilizing the documentation to formulate a test plan and to interact with development as the test plan reveals the need for design modifications
