Responsible for day-to-day tasks of keeping databases up and running including change management, reviewing database structures, security and authorization, and like tasks . Also responsible for the optimization of resource usage to increase throughput and minimize contention, enabling the largest possible workload to be processed. Minimum 5 years participating in Testing Life Cycle (Data Validation and Performance Testing)
Minimum 5 years demonstrated ability to conduct and/or lead discussions with Business Partners and Senior Technology Leadership
Minimum 7 years demonstrated ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously, and success using problem-solving skills
Good written, oral communication skills and ability to work in a Team environment
Strong Customer service oriented and interpersonal skills
Experience in developing policies and procedures for database environments, defining coding standards and Service Level Agreements Experience: Minimum 10 years using SQL (DML and DDL) for any DBMS
Minimum 7 years of database architecture, administration and support on large Oracle environment
Minimum 3 years of working knowledge in clustered database environment
Minimum 10 years Unix with strong Shell scripting skills
Minimum 5 years of application development and project management on any DBMS Strong understanding of database concepts, architecture, processes and principles Minimum 3 years of supporting J2EE application development teams
