Desktop Support Analyst in DALLAS, TX
Our Dallas based client is seeking a very customer-oriented individual to provide rapid resolutions to day-to-day customer issues. The individual will help guide end users with the proper use of our applications in order to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and to minimize the escalation of problems. In addition, responsibilities include documenting and assisting in analyzing all customer support issues in order to identify patterns and prevent repeating issues. The position encompasses installing new and/or expanding existing personal computer based systems, facilitating software and hardware upgrades and installations. The candidate will be taking ownership of the escalated issues and coordinating appropriate resources to resolve them in a timely manner. Additionally, duties will include assisting PC Technicians in managing customer projects and in writing technical documents that are relevant to customer needs. This position provides desk-side support and may include some travel to customer facilities. <br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. The candidate will possess a strong sense of following up and good verbal and written communication skills. Technical Requirements include 2+ years in the following: experience in providing technical support on-site for a client/server application, working knowledge of Windows 2000 and XP, Windows networks, and Microsoft Office Suite. Some College education is preferred. MCSE or like certification, knowledge of SQL Server 2000 Database Platform, and a basic knowledge of Project Management is highly desirable.
