SYBASE Database Administrator in Dallas, TX

One of our most valued partners is looking for a SYBASE Database Administrator. The company is based out of Dallas, TX. The position involves some database design, creation and population. In addition, candidates will be responsible for monitoring and correcting minor database issues. <br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: The candidates should possess at least 1+ years of Administration & Maintenance experience with SYBASE ASE 12.5 databases. In addition, the requirements entail the following: 1+ years of experience with a UNIX OS (AIX 5.3 & Solaris 9), File Transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, Connect Direct, NDM), T-SQL programming, SYBASE backup & restore processes and Application & End User support in a LAN/WAN environment. Good written & verbal communications skills are essential. Candidates must have the ability to communicate & work with an Infrastructure team, including good documentation skills.
