Senior C#/ASP.NET Developer in dallas, TX
Robert Half Technology, the world's leader in technology staffing, is currently seeking a Senior C#/ASP.NET Developer for an ongoing opportunity. On a day to day basis, the candidate will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of projects necessary to our clients. This individual will primarily be responsible for completing various ASP.NET 2.0/C# and SQL Server 2005 development tasks. Some of the SQL Server tasks may involve SQL Reporting Services. Candidate must be skilled in both ASP.NET/C# and SQL development best practices and object-oriented development concepts. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, this candidate must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team of developers. <br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. All applicants applying for Canadian job openings must be authorized to work in Canada. Experience: In order to qualify for this position the candidate must have 2+ years ASP.NET development using C# (version 2.0 preferred, 1.1 is ok - but C# is a firm requirement); 3+ years SQL Server 2005 or 2000 (not as DBA but as senior developer); 2+ years Web Service development in ASP.NET/C#; 2+ years XML; 3+ years Object-Oriented Development; 5+ years of professional development experience in total.
