JavaScript C#/VB.NET in Dallas, TX

We have an immediate need for a Programmer with Merchandising Application Development experience to maintain and enhance Merchandising Applications for one of our large retail clients. You will support projects and related tasks with the maintenance, enhancement and development of web-enabled applications. Responsibilities will include handling service requests, developing workarounds, development tasks, executing a project plan to meet project deliverables, and providing life-cycle management. On-call production and quality assurance support is part of this position. 5+ years working of programming experience with web-enabled platforms, languages and protocols is required. A minimum of 3 years experience with C#, VB.NET and Web Services is needed. Knowledge of database design and processing is preferred. Advanced problem solving skills are needed. Experience with Windows and UNIX operating systems and Client/Server architecture with COM/DCOM components are desired. Working knowledge of COBOL, IMS and CICS are necessary. Other desired experience includes HTML, ASP, Visual Basic, VBScript, JavaScript, JSP, J2EE, FTP, SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, XML, DHTML, IIS, WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQ. The ability to receive security NACI clearance for accessing sensitive corporate data is a must.
