Telecom Provisioner Circuit Designer in Dallas, TX

Design all levels of circuits in TBS. Track all allocated ILEC/CLEC assignments within TBS. In addition, order loops from CLEC or ILEC and coordinate Local Number Portability. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assign and design all circuits utilizing TBS software

Work with engineering to configure network topology

Install all CPE into database for circuit connections

Coordinate as-builts with install/transport/NAC techs

Utilize TBS to design orders within designated timeframes

Ordering all types of facilities (From UBLs to OC192s) internally and from ILEC or CLEC, and ordering type II facilities (UBL to OC192) from the LEC /CLEC.

Tracking FOC information and updating TBS for ILEC/CLEC circuit ID and FOC date. Escalate when needed to deliver ordered facilities based on LEC/CLEC standard interval and the needs of the XO customer

Order and coordinate LNP with the LEC / CLEC based on negotiated due dates with XO customers. Escalate when needed to receive FOC for LNP orders submitted to the LEC / CLEC.

Create subscriptions using the NPAC database for number ports.

Communicate with all parties involved on an order to ensure consistency of information regarding order status. Experience:

High School Diploma or GED

3-6 years telecommunications job related experience

2 years circuit design and provisioning experience

Excellent customer communication skills both oral and written

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Experience with TBS

Excellent organizational skills

Good troubleshooting skills
