CDI IT Solutions is currently looking for an AIX/Remote Technical Support Specialist in Dallas, TX.
We are seeking a qualified resource to perform the following primary duties:
Support of all areas of AIX operating system, including installing, configuring TCPIP, rebuilding the system, restoring from backup tape, monitoring the performance of the AIX machine, reading system dumps and creating file systems.
Support of AIX hardware architectures for pSeries such as replacing and installing new hard disk, adding memory and checking the battery.
Support of all products currently included in the AIX Advanced Support offering on various platforms including, but not limited to, AIX, HP/UX, Sun Solaris, Windows 2000, Windows NT, AS/400 and Linux.
The qualified candidate will also possess strong communication and verbal soft skills.
Communication skills should incorporate the following:
Confidence and Professionalism dealing with customer conflict and confrontation.
Executing dynamic interpersonal communications with customers, management and co-workers.
