Genesis10 is in need of an Integration Analyst with a VB.net Background for a major client in Plano, Texas on a 5 month contract basis with the intent to convert to full-time.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with client data in XML format.
- Work with team to implement Web Services and GenTran Integration Suite implementations.
- Perform EDI/XML/FF Mapping using Sterling Commerce Mapper.
- Design Business Process using Sterling Commerce Business Process Modeling tools.
- Support client issues with speedy turnaround.
- Ability to work independently during client implementations.
- Assist Department Manager with time estimates for business process and mapping.
- Document work performed and provide knowledge transfer to business users.

- Protocols HTTP, AS1, AS2, FTP, SFTP
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- 2 to 3 years hands-on experience.
- Experience transforming data between different formats (Delimited Data/XML/Flat File).
- Experience creating SQL statements to retrieve data from a database, insert data into a database and update data using SQL Server.
- Strong diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
- Will be required to participate in a regular support rotation, resolving processing issues in a timely manner.
- Prior programming experience in a major programming language (Java, VB.Net, Visual Basic 6.0, C++, C#).
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Bachelors Degree MIS or Engineering.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Advanced SQL concepts (outer joins, group by).
- Previous VB 6.0 or .Net programming experience, we are primarily a Windows shop.
- Web site scripting using .Net or Javascript, or both.
- Prior experience with communications to other trading partners using FTP, HTTP, HTTPS.
- Desire to learn Business Process Modeling using BPML or BPEL.
- Desire to learn data transformation tools, such a Sterling Commerce GenTran Integration Suite, Mercator, WebSphere Integrator.
- Prior work with AS400 systems, mainframe terminal.
- Experience working with XML using XPath, DTDs and XSchema.
- Experience working with delimited data formats similar to EDI, CSV, HL7, or EDIFACT.
- Prior messaging system experience (WebSphere MQ, MQ Series, Tuxedo, WebLogic, JMS Queues).
