One of our partner companies is currently migrating to the .NET platform. We are seeking a Senior C#/ASP.NET Web Developer who will assist in extending and maintaining the existing code base for the business logic and data access layers. The Developer needs to be familiar with VB6 for the maintenance. This will consist of writing and maintaining stored procedures for SQL Server 2000 to 2005 upgrade. In addition, the C#/ASP.NET Web Developer will assist in the migration of all VB6 code base to the .NET platform. The individual will also assist in developing additional web functionality utilizing ASP.NET. The Developer position also entails working with other developers and actively participating in the design process. The Developer will also develop reports using SSRS & SSAS. Once this migration is complete, the Senior .NET Developer will be helping with the design of a new system to be developed for internal/intranet use in order to track sales and inventory.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: All development is currently being done with .NET 2.0 and the company will be moving to .NET 3.5 by the beginning of the fourth quarter of this year. SQL Server 2005 experience is mandatory. A candidate who has worked with Business Intelligence tools in SQL 2005 such as SSRS, SSIS or SSAS will be considered and interviewed first because this position is going to be a role within our Business Intelligence Division. All interested Developers must possess excellent communication skills. Experience with AJAX & Web Services are a high plus. A Bachelor's Degree in CIS, CE, CS, BIS, Engineering or equivalent field is a must. 4 + years C# experience on web based applications or more is required.
