CA ServiceDesk Customization Specialist in Dallas, TX

Experience: Our client is currently running Service Desk 5.5 release that needs to be customized on a UNIX Sun 2.8 platform. This is all open Code! On this version there is nothing to use so that the upgrade can be visually tested. This customization may require shutting down the system to test.

The Agents are typing in a service request date into the Need By Date Field which is called Need By Date on the interface, the Table Name, Need_By, is located in the table change_request. These are all CA Service Desk defined fields, these are not customized by the client.

Our client needs an customization to go out and do a validation check against the Need By Date field. If the date is out of bounds per the SLA the screen needs to flash, or some other action needs to happen where the Agent will be alerted to the error.
