Join our innovative team for the following position:
Our client in the Dallas, TX area has an immediate need for a Network Architect. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of applicable experience in IP Telephony, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. This position is considered a subject matter expert in IP Telephony with strong CallManager and Unity skills.
Required:
. 5+ years of network design, deployment and support experience
. Expert-level experience with Call Manager, Unity, VoIP and QoS
. Strong familiarity with Cisco configuration tools
. Comfortable presenting to groups, leading discussions or driving an agenda of meetings with customers on various topics (networking, IP routing, switching or Telephony)
. Total understanding of all technologies involved in this area (Cisco, IP Telephony, IP, T1, T3 and ISDN0
. Understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP and BGP)
. Working knowledge of IPT components such as CallManager, Unity, voice gateways and gatekeepers
. Understanding of Call Center technologies (IVR and ICM)
. Knowledge of PBX and Call Center environments
. Knowledge of emerging network technologies and protocols
. Accurate/organized technical documentation skills
. Excellent communication skills
. Ability to work independently
Desired:
. CCNP certification
. CIPT certification
. IPCC, C/C++, Java Script, XML, XSLT and/or Perl is a plus
Responsibilities:
. Provide integration and maintenance services for a complex IP Telephony (IPT) and IP Contact Center (IPCC) network
. Respond to all system problems on a 7X24 basis
. Participate in on-call rotation
