Lawson Financial, SQL, Microfocus COBOL, Lawson Security, Supply Chain, Oracle
Responsible for developing and supporting Lawson Financial and Supply Chain Suites. This position requires an experienced Lawson professional. Responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate processing or to improve existing solutions. Responsible for maintaining, supporting, troubleshooting, and enhancing Lawson 8.1 application suite which includes Finance and Supply Chain. Responsible for developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting custom interfaces with other applications. Work directly with business users and analysts to troubleshoot production problems, identify solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of problem solution following all IT processes and procedures.
Experience: Ability to maintain and develop existing and new interfaces with Lawson systems (Supply Chain and Finance version 8.1 or 9 applications). BA degree or work equivalent
Ability to develop applications in MicroFocus Cobol (4GL).
Experience with Unix shell scripting and SQL development.
Experience working with Oracle to support changes and enhancements to applications
Ability to translate and analyze business requirements for Supply Chain and Finance departments.
Ability to gather requirements, design, test and implement solutions.
Experience with JavaScript, Visual Basic, XML a plus.
Experience with Lawson System Foundation 9 is a plus.
Ability to back-up for Lawson Security Admin and applying maintenance patches/system upgrades.
