SQL 2005 SSIS Developer in DALLAS, TX

The primary responsibility of the SQL 2005 SSIS Developer role is to help in data conversion projects. Candidates interested in the SQL 2005 SSIS Developer position must be experienced in data analysis using SQL server, with the ability to understand business concepts, data models, data mapping, cleaning, transformation and reporting. This person must be able to understand and participate in efforts from a business and technical perspective. The position requires at least four years or equivalent experience in the Information Technology environment or equivalent combination of education and work experience. This SQL 2005 SSIS Developer position will review and analyze business requirements and translate those into processes and SQL code for data conversion.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: Experience with relational database servers, including 3+ years of experience SQL Server 2000/2005 is a must for the SQL 2005 SSIS Developers. We are looking for applications who are proficient in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) development, creating packages from scratch - not just migrations from DTS packages. The SQL 2005 SSIS Developer needs to understand relational database concepts and database structure, with the ability to perform analysis of database tables and stored procedures. Minimum 3 year experience with SQL Query Analyzer creating, analyzing, and modifying reports and stored procedures is required. The individual also needs to be proficient in Microsoft Excel - importing and exporting data. Experience with Data conversion projects and data mapping between systems and experience with standardizing, cleaning and aggregating data is required for the SQL 2005 SSIS Developer position. The ability to recognize and isolate data trends, issues and concepts is needed. Experience with providing results by understanding, organizing and querying data and experience with troubleshooting and/or data analysis in an IT software environment is mandatory. The SQL 2005 SSIS Developer needs to have the ability to work independently and managing a workload with the responsibility of analyzing system requests, meeting deadlines, preparing specifications, and a commitment to quality assurance. We are looking for someone with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, keen attention to detail and who is comfortable working effectively in a rapidly changing environment. The ability to communicate effectively with all levels within and outside the organization, including senior management and technical teams will be required, in addition to good listening and consultative skills.
