Intranet Web Developer in Dallas, TX

Advertising conglomerate is looking for an experienced web developer to join their dynamic IT team! The Intranet administrator will be responsible for administering MOSS 2007 intranet portal sites,
implement web-based projects including design, development and testing, code and implement new webparts for Sharepoint, create/support connectivity between various data sources using multiple methods (ODBC, SQL DTS, etc.) and perform server software updates, among other duties. Experience: Requirements include strong experience with ASP.net, SQL Server, HTML and JavaScript. Experience with SharePoint highly preferred.



Provide timely management reporting necessary to keep all parties apprised of project status and assigned responsibilities.

Provide miscellaneous troubleshooting for third-party applications with Web-based components (e.g. business applications, email, etc.)

Qualified candidates should have:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience desired.

Minimum of two years technical experience in designing, developing, and supporting Intranet applications with strong MS Sharepoint Administrator experience – preferably with recent exposure to MOSS 2007. Must have experience implementing creative designs as websites with cross-browser compatibility using HTML and CSS.

Qualified candidate will have experience gathering requirements, developing specifications, and generating test procedures. Knowledge of relational database technologies and design is required.

Experienced with MS Windows Server 2000/2003, MOSS 2007,MS SQL Server 2000/2005, IIS 5.0/6.0, and application development software. Experienced with C#, ASP, ASP.NET, ODBC, VBScript, TSQL, SQL, and Javascript technologies and languages.

Must communicate effectively with in-house users, including both technical and non-technical personnel. Must be able to interface with upper management in an effective manner. Individual must possess excellent customer-service skills.

This position supports critical functions operating 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. To assure adequate support of these functions the employee may be required to participate in an on-call program to facilitate timely return of staff to the office to meet critical needs.
