User Support Coordinator in Dallas, TX

Our client has an exciting opportunity available for a User Support Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be a self starter and be able to work individually as well as on a team.
Experience: Essential Duties
1. Coordinate workflow of the User Support Specialist(s);
2. Coordinate department testing of configurations, software changes, upgrades and additions;
3. Assist with testing new software installation, use, integration and support issues;
4. Drafts and responds to firmwide system, software, hardware and upgrade e-mails;
5. Conducts weekly User Support and departmental meetings;
6. Attend staff and secretary meetings on behalf of department;
7. Coordinates delivery, training and support for walk up copiers;
8. Setup and maintain new printers on server and work with supply vendors and printer service company;
9. Monitor printer contract and supply negotiations;
10. Create text for help files on the portal;
11. Develop and edit Firm macros;
12. Test desktop configuration changes and macro revisions;
13. Assist in the documentation of IT procedures;
14. Streamline and document department and work group procedures;
15. Develop knowledgebase procedures and maintain internal knowledgebase articles;
16. Conduct, compile, and present information from satisfaction surveys of end users of HelpDesk vendor;
17. Review and release Zip attachments and encrypted e-mail from mail filter.

Other Duties
1. Back-up for following:
a. Provide third level support to HelpDesk vendor;
b. Identify education issues for HelpDesk vendor;
c. Act as liaison between the various workgroups in the department and as a department representative to the Firm;
d. Keep HelpDesk manual current;
e. Compile information for IT department manual;
f. Test, identify, and document software issues, bugs, and fixes.
2. Perform other related duties as needed or assigned.
