Title: 30 positions for RF Engineers with Ericsson backgroundLocation : Dallas, TX Duration : 6 monthsMultiple positions for RF Engineer1. RF Engineer - UMTS Design Scope of Work: Resources are needed for WCDMA/UMTS design project. Candidates need design experience in UMTS/HSDPA. At least 3 years of RF experience. At least 1 year of design in UMTS. Beneficial to have Atoll tool experience (but not required). Beneficial to have Planet/Asset experience. Good communication skils. 2. UMTS Tuning Candidates must be flexible to travel. Able to make recommendations in parameter changes, feature activations on drive test data to improve the system performance. Good understanding of optimization tools such as TEMS, Actix, Agilent. Experience in tuning a loaded network, and understand the difference between artificial and real traffic loading. Good understanding of Layer 3 messaging. Able to collect and analyze drive data and performance statistics. Knowledge on how IRAT procedures can affects the overall performance. Ericsson experience preferred. 3. UMTS Optimization NPI Minimum 3 years experience in NPI projects, from which 2 year should be in UMTS NPI -Experience with the different RAB services (CS, PS, HSDPA, EUL) -Experience optimizing network using statistics -Experience with the OSS (WRNO, RAN Explorer, Element manager etc.) and knows how to operate them -Experience with live data KPIs and tools.
