May perform one or more of the following: Technical Helpdesk Associate ACS is a leading provider of mission-critical, non-core business process outsourcing (BPO) and information technology (IT) solutions to blue-chip clients worldwide. ACS is actively seeking an experienced individual who can fill the position of Mainframe Performance Engineer with the main duties as follows: SUMMARY Reporting to the Help Desk Manager, your mission will be to support the fulfillment of the company vision of prompt and professional Help Desk service through quick processing and prioritization of problems with information technology products and services. You will assist our customers over the phone with information geared towards improving their understanding of our Company’s desire to resolve their technological issues. DUTIES include the following. Interview customers over the phone with multiple types of system/applications errors following specific guidelines on call processing, prioritizing, and escalation procedures. Log in or assign issues to the appropriate coordinator, technician or systems specialist. Ensure that problems are promptly addressed, documented and rectified, accurately and on time, with the proper follow-up and professional customer service. Develop customer service and technical skills. BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: Some college or technical training and 1+ years of Help Desk, Call Center or customer service experience. Certifications – A+, CompTIA preferred but not required NECESSARY SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES - The ability to: Communicate effectively with internal/external personnel as well as customers. Project strong team building and organizational skills. Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Computer literate.
