Be a part of a team in building/managing large Sybase data bases for high availability using excellent performance perameters.Schedule/execute storage backup procedures.Report status of development projects and production operations.Develop standards and procedures for implementing and maintaining large data bases within the environment. Required Skills: Strong job history showing 2-3 years per job as a permanent employee. Will not consider anyone with frequent job changes. 5 years Sybase DBA experience in large, professional environments.Four year college degree absolutely required. Experience must be from working in a team environment with high availability data bases and critical business applications. Strong attention to detail with ability to understand and follow detailed processes.Strong problem-solving skills, excellent analytical abilities, and solid planning skills Excellent skills in backup/recovery, performance improvement, storage management, etc. Must be able to work for any employer without sponsorship needs.
