Citrix Specialist (2 month contract or longer) - CJ0604-TXCI in Dallas, TX

Support the roll out of the Enterprise Citrix initiative for 3 central site locations. Provide user assistance on issues related to Citrix. Support application testing in a Citrix XenApp 4.5 environment. Installing and configuring applications locally or within a virtual environment utilizing ThinApp or Citrix AIE. Applications will be installed and tested in conjunction with application SME and application tester. Build, configure, and support HP (Compaq) Blade and DL server hardware, Citrix software, and Microsoft Windows server OS; Assist the Citrix team with the installation of images created via RDP for server configurations. Manage, troubleshoot and support the Citrix environment. Overtime and weekend required as necessary. Required Skills: Minimum 2 years hands-on technical experience with Citrix Presentation ServerMinimum 2 years hands-on technical experience with Microsoft Active DirectoryMinimum 1 year technical project management experienceSolid Scripting experience required.Strong experience working with, creating, and maintaining Application Independent Environments (AIE) within a Citrix Presentation Server environmentMust have expert knowledge of Citrix Systems to the architecture level (MetaFrame XP, Presentation Server, Password Manager, and CAG)Possess a CCA certification.Must possess a solid hand-on foundation with Windows Server applications.An MSCE with a minimum of 5 years experience that shows an in-depth experience of Windows 2000 Server versions, Windows 2003 Server versions, and Active Directory.Within the MS Windows 2000/2003 Server version must possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of WINS, DNS, GPO's, and Active Directory.At least 3 years of hands-on Citrix MetaFrame engineering and experience in a large MetaFrame environmentWithin Citrix MetaFrame, must understand and possess hands-on experience with Presentation Server, Web Interface, Secure, and Installation Manager.Must have experience with Altiris and the RDP process.Experience with application deployment in a Citrix environment, maintenance and management of software applications, and support toolsAbility to troubleshoot Group Policy Application problemsProficient use of debugging, analysis, and monitoring tools Desired Skills: Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals vertical experience.
