Sr. Software Pre-Sales Engineer in Dallas, TX
Major client has immediate opening for candidate preferably living west of the mississippi. 50% travel is required. This individual will be responsible for providing technical presales support to our WebSphere Customer Center Sales Specialists. WebSphere Customer Center is a CDI (Customer Data Integration) solution that is a key component of Master Data Management (MDM) strategy. This individual will be responsible for removing all technical roadblocks to closing Software Solution deals. Other immediate responsibilities will include hands-on responsibility for pre-sales functions including understanding and gathering customer requirements, technical presentations and demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and articulating the business value of our solutions. Successful applicants will likely have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: *Excellent presentation and communication skills, deep business acumen, coordination, and multi-tasking abilities; *ability to effectively articulate to technical, CIO, and CXO audiences; *self-starter who assumes responsibility and recognizes and solves problems; *demonstrated success in building customer relationships. Experience: Candidate Must Have: 5+ years information technology experience associated with software. Software pre-sales experience. Experience articulating the advantages of a product to a customer. CRM, CDI, data modeling, data integration, web services--types of key experience--CRM & CDI are most preferable. Desirable industry experience: retail brokerage, investment, retail banking, commercial banking, credit cards insurance, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing, government, and hospitality.
