Supervises the administration of the benefits programs of organization by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Drafts and distributes field communication regarding benefits programs.
Oversees benefits customer service and facilitates resolution of issues.
Reconciles benefits accounts and the billing process.
Establishes and performs benefits audits as needed and keeps direct supervisor informed of issues.
Stays abreast of emerging employee benefits trends and legislation and keeps department informed of the impact of potential regulatory changes.
Administers the LOA programs and ensures compliance with all applicable Federal and State leave regulations.
Ensures that all Health & Welfare plans are administered in compliance with applicable Federal and State regulations.
Establishes and maintains historical Health & Welfare record keeping.
Maintains records and resolves employee questions and problems with benefit plans.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Four year college degree in Human Resources or related field; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of current federal and state benefits regulations required (including Health & Welfare, 401(k), and LOA). Multi-state experience highly preferred.
