Our client in Dallas, Tx is currently looking for a Sr. Level Exchange/SMS Administrator to work in an enterprise environment in support of over 300 servers and 2600 end users.
Responsibilities:
Candidate must have extensive hands-on experience with Installation, configuration and troubleshooting Windows 2003, MS-Exchange 2003 administration, SQL, and 2003 Active Directory (including DHCP, DNS, WINS, etc.) Candidate must posses experience administrating a network in an Enterprise environment.
Qualifications:
*4 + years experience with MS Windows 2003, SMS, Exchange, Symantec Anti-virus Server, and MS Project.
*Must have significant experience working in an enterprise environment.
*Experience with SQL Server 2000 Administration and Trouble-shooting. (SQL2005 a plus).
*Candidates for this role must have proven expertise in an enterprise class network, and must be able to perform installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, production support, and planning for future growth.
*Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs. Ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust, confidence and respect.
*Must be able to communicate effectively and persuasively.
*Ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of situations.
*Quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
*Technical hands-on implementation experience delivering small to large, departmental/Enterprise projects for business departments and/or organizations.
*Creative problem solving and analytical skills.
*Responds to production program problems. Manages resolution of problems and escalates as required. Performs predictive, proactive root cause analysis.
*Evaluates and recommends emerging technologies. Complies with project management methodology requirements as appropriate. Develops detailed program specifications for self and others.
*BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field a plus.
