The Manager for Online, Loyalty, & Gift Card Marketing will be responsible for managing programs supporting key marketing initiatives, product launches, promotions, and other marketing and sales-driven efforts related to these areas. Specifically, this person works with the AVP of Marketing to drive gift card sales, manage D&B's web assets and online media, and build a loyal consumer base via email marketing programs, online communications, data capture programs, and program analysis. This individual will have a passion for administrating multiple programs through various marketing channels simultaneously, with a commitment to reporting results and program ROI.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Works with AVP Marketing in establishing overall online, loyalty, and gift card program strategies.
Continue growth and expansion of gift card sales. Develops and executes 2 national in-store marketing programs to increase gift card sales. Identifies, establishes, and manages B2B and 3rd party gift card vendor relationships to drive off-site gift card sales. Works with internal IT groups and gift card processor to set-up new vendors, manage inventory, and track sales. Analyzes segment-specific and overall performance metrics of both online, in-store, and external retail initiatives. Monitors the gift card industry for trends and opportunities.
Develops the communication and offer strategy for the D&B Rewards program. Manages content and execution of segment-focused email streams with IT, Training, and external vendors. Leads testing of various offer elements, tracking results, and implementing "continuous improvement" campaign philosophy. Facilitates consumer and market research. Drives data mining and measurement efforts for greater understanding of the customer and more successful campaigns including customer profiles, frequency, and attrition rates. Responsible for loyalty program support, analysis, and overall program ROI.
Responsible for D&B website management and online media strategy. Ensures brand and promotions integration in all aspects of the web. Manages and updates all website content for relevancy and accuracy. Updates the marketing communications calendar in conjunction with the local store marketing teams and store management. Manages online search and media campaigns. Monitors the industry for trends and opportunities. Responsible for reporting and analyzing website and online statistics.
Responsible for management of online agency resources and the email marketing group. Works with graphic artists, writers and web developers in the execution of program support materials. Works with customer support teams to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Monitors tracks and report status of program budgets
Undergrad degree required. MBA preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of marketing experience encompassing the following: Experience working with customer databases, segment analysis and performance tracking Experience working with IT groups and online agencies to administer Web development projects, electronic collateral projects, online media, search, emails, and web tracking tools. Experience in setting up program reporting strategy, establishing test cells, pulling data from reporting tools, organizing results and presenting findings to team.
