We currently have a .NET Developer career opportunity at our Dallas, TX location.
POSITION PURPOSE: The .NET Applications Developer/Senior Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of software solutions as assigned to address business and MIS needs within the organization.
The candidate should have a solid application development background with exposure to full software development lifecycle and proficiency in ASP.NET, C#.NET, Windows Forms, and SQL Server 2000. The candidate should also have experience in developing and designing distributed n-tier applications and working knowledge of technologies like Web Services and XML/XSL.
It is strongly preferred that the candidate should have working knowledge of the various .NET based tools available through Microsoft, including but not limited to BizTalk Server, SharePoint Server and Content Management Server. The candidate should also be very familiar with source code control and comfortable in source code management tools. The other skills desired are Object Oriented Analysis and Design and understanding of modeling languages like UML.
This position will hold a deep technical level to design and maintain programs and interfaces and .NET Applications Developer will participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of new strategies and solutions in order to facilitate InDxLogics business objectives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Interpret documented business requirements translating them to software specifications and detail design.
2. Develop new solutions using C#, ASP.NET HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, MS Sharepoint Server, MS SharePoint Portal, MS Content Management Server or MS BizTalk Server.
3. Improve on existing primarily with C#, but if necessary with C, C++, or Visual Basic.
4. Troubleshoot any type of technical issue that may arise with any of the related tools / solutions.
5. Perform unit testing of applications developed.
6. Participate in all phases of the relevant Integration and Deployment
