CISCO Routing and Switching expert needed in North Dallas! in Dallas, TX

Our client is currently interviewing Cisco Network Engineers for a six month contract to hire opportunity in North Dallas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the international design, implementation, and operation of WAN, Network Security, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VoIP, evaluation and testing of new network technology. This self starter will also be responsible for network security audits, Cisco Call Manager implementation, QOS design, and IDS/IPS implementation, as well as provide occasional network support and manage remote site connectivity.

This position will be responsible for design, install and tune of our clients International network platforms that need to support high reliability, optimize speed, redundancy and load balancing.
Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common WAN problems.
Upgrades network hardware and software components as required.
Troubleshoots and maintains routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP call manager.

Experience: Minimum five years experience working with Cisco IOS and other models
Minimum five years experience building enterprise class data networks
Must be expert level with detailed experience in Cisco IOS.
In-depth knowledge of layer 2 & 3 Cisco routing and switching technologies and products required.
Expert in IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
Expert in Frame Relay, MPLS, VPN, and Ethernet transports
Candidates must have a broad scope of exposure from a large network. 60% Switches and Routers 40% VOIP.
