IT Business Analyst (with an emphasis in process design) Location : Downtown Dallas - 75201Duration : 6-12-36 month's Pay rate : 25-27/hr IT Business Analyst (with an emphasis in process design).This position requires proven knowledge and experience in:• Business process analysis.• Business process design.• Business process re-engineering. Complete Description:The role also involves leveraging an information technology background with a solid understanding of business process design and development. The role will leverage the individual’s knowledge and experience in processes and procedure development as well as experience in the use of tools and techniques for process mapping. The role requires the individual to be flexible, be a fast learner and possess strong facilitation skills to work with teams and gain crucial input from other contributors. A primary responsibility will be to document the “as-is process” and the “to-be process” of a myriad of processes for IT Operations and Customer Care. General Description:• Process analysis, design and documentation on assigned deliverables in a project including specific complex deliverables such as process re-design, communication processes, process measurement across multiple business teams and vendors and reporting process metrics.• Work includes, among other things, documenting and analyzing existing processes, situational analysis, and analysis of cost impacts and ROI for process optimization.• Driving multiple business unit stakeholders to consensus on processes, process metrics and communication processes.• Maintaining and promoting a focus on achieving maximum process results (yield).• Ensuring effective communication among other IT disciplines and ensuring effective management of change. Skills Required:• Specific work experience, typically 5+ years of work experience in documenting, designing, developing and reforming business processes in complex large environments.• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.• Proven knowledge and experience in designing and redesigning business processes.• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).• Ability to drive results and meet milestones.• Strong partner and teamwork skills.• ABSOLUTELY MUST BE PROFICIENT in Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project and must be very comfortable and skilled with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.• Must be able to use HTML-generate tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft FrontPage or Adobe Dreamweaver. Reporting Structure:The IT Business Analyst in this role will report directly to the Director of IT Operations but have matrix responsibility to others reporting to the director. The position will not have direct reports.
