Irvine Technology has a client that is a world leader in digital circuits and they are looking for a talented Linux Administrator to join their team.
Will be supporting a mixed Solaris and Linux environment for engineering applications. Additionally, involves supporting a LSF computer grid environment.
Consists of supporting 250+ Linux workstations running Cadence and other EDA software. Plus, supporting 30 Solaris workstations running Cadence and other EDA software.
Experience: Skills needed:
Solid Linux administration skills
FLEXlm (Software License Manager) experience
LSF (Load Sharing Facility) Experience
Kickstart (Network Installation Tool) experience
Solaris 8 and RHEL4
Lots of Perl programming.
Remote users support
PHP and Plone experience a plus
NIS, LDAP (Active Directory) and EDA a plus.
