E10K Sun Enterprise or E15-25K Sunfire Field Engr in Dallas, TX

Seeking E10K Sun Enterprise or E15-25K Sunfire Field Engineer as follows: - LOCATIONS: DALLAS, TX - Full Time Salaried - Local surrounding area candidates REQUIREMENTS: - Experience in system support for Sun Enterprise, Solaris, UNIX, hardware and software, software applications, networking with call center experience and experience in E10K Sun Enterprise. - A PLUS: Solaris 1 & 2 Certification. - A PLUS: Experience in Sunfire E15k - E25K. - Pre Sales & Post Sales involvement in Sun Enterprise systems. - Experience in the Installation of Sun Enterprise Servers, support product and firmware patches and Field Change Orders (FCO*s) & patches, Kernel, Storage, Networks. - Assist in developing software installation plans for customers. - Act as a technical resource to any support personnel and review and act upon daily reports of open service calls and provide support to Strategic Partners on service calls. - Experience with E10K and Solaris 1 & 2 Certification. - Excellent customer service skills and verbal and written communication skills. - A PLUS: CERTIFICATIONS IN SOLARIS 1 & 2 Certification Email resume in a MS Word Doc to: aneale@neo. or ann-neale@ Ann Neale ManTek Consulting Experience: - 5 years experience in system support for Sun, Unix, hardware, software, software applications, networking and call center experience and experience in E15k and E25K products or 5 years experience with E10K. - Installation of Sun Enterprise Service supported products & patches. - Deliver Sun Start and other Sun deliverables. Assist in developing software installation plans for customers. - A PLUS: Experience with Sun E10K; E12K; E15K; E20K; E25K. - Experience in the following: * Hardware and High Availability * Kernel/OS,Databases,RAS/Disaster Recovery * Storage and Networks - Escalate, coassign or consult other engineer or management and assist in ensuring Enterprise Services meets their customer satisfaction goals and assist in problem isolation and resolution utilizing system software and diagnostics. - Act as a technical resource to any support personnel and review and act upon daily reports of open service calls and provide support to Strategic Partners on service calls. - Provide post sales on-site and telephone support to Sun customers. - Act as interface between customers and other engineers using Call Management tools to update all involved parties of activities. - Able to resolve documentation issues by providing necessary documentation and providing recommendations to customers and account teams. - Participate in new product technical support and delivery reviews, provide Transfer of Information (TOI) seminars to other support personnel. - Provide account management of key accounts as needed and conduct on-site technical account reviews and and provide customer coaching and training. - Mentor new and junior engineers. - A PLUS: EXPERIENCE IN E25K. - Sun Certification required: - BS Degree Required.
