Business Systems Analyst / Developer in Dallas, TX

Enterprise Solutions in Dallas has an immediate opening for an experienced Business Systems Analyst with equal skills and experience as a developer with solid knowledge of Oracle Report Builder and Oracle Report Writer. This position is scheduled to begin ASAP. The person in this position: Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. May require an associate's degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Experience: Solid knowledge of database management systems and Oracle reports builder. Solid knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures and Packages. Minimum of 2 years experience in an Oracle environment Solid knowledge of XML and XML Publisher Solid knowledge of Java Expert in report writing using Oracle Report Writer Expert knowledge of Oracle Apps Strong analytical, inter personnel and communication skills Ability to understand and document functional requirements and flow diagrams.
