Infrastructure Manager: Responsibilities &#149; Work with the CIO to define the infrastructure for the enterprise and identify major areas of improvement &#149; Define and enforce technical standards and procedures &#149; Apply enterprise vision to all infrastructure projects &#149; Proactively recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness and stability of environment &#149; Oversee all project and resource allocation within the infrastructure domain &#149; Proactively assist in defining direction for future projects &#149; Ensure a stable performance environment enterprisewide: &#61630; Monitor and analyze problems that occur, ensuring that problems are identified and solved as rapidly and efficiently as possible &#61630; Oversee the provision of critical and essential infrastructure services to locations enterprisewide &#149; Collaborate with the business IT leadership team and the business project managers to evaluate new development projects and to determine their impact on infrastructure. &#149; Prepare impact studies that describe the ramifications of new systems for data center operations, network operations, and client support services. &#149; Ensure the security of data access through the use of the corporate data security policy &#149; Assist with the development of a disaster recovery plan to prevent interruption of critical business functions through the loss of data &#149; Ownership of Backup & Restore Planning and Testing &#149; Vendor relationship management of outsourced resources (SLAs) &#149; Manager product vendor relationships and contracts &#149; Ownership of Go/No-Go on Production Readiness Review of all Project &#149; In-depth working knowledge and oversight Cisco VoIP Telephony IRCC Enterprise, Cisco Call Manager 5, Unity Voicemail, Cisco IVR <br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: Required Qualifications: &#149; Bachelor&#146;s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline and/or equivalent experience &#149; Six to eight years of related experience in infrastructure/network environments performing network engineering (hardware and software), designing, planning, and implementing LANs/WANs using the latest technology &#149; At least five years of experience in project management demonstrating high competency in the leadership of large-scale projects of significant resources with high quality deliverables &#149; Significant experience and knowledge in new computing infrastructures and implementation of network computing structures; plus experience with web technology &#149; Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement, involving broad-based information systems, utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change; business systems analysis experience preferred &#149; Five or more years of human resources management experience, leading multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups &#149; Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems &#149; Ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment &#149; Change Agent mindset with outstanding change management skills &#149; Ability to adapt rapidly changing technology requirements and business needs &#149; Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations whilst maintaining customer satisfaction &#149; Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written; ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding &#149; Fast learner and a motivated self-starter who can grasp theory quickly and apply it practically with minimal management intervention &#149; Experience in creating and defining new architectural models and explaining complex problems or situations &#149; Experience in managing budgets &#149; Ability to plan infrastructure requirements one to three years in advance and aid others in accomplishing annual goals &#149; Thorough understanding of distributed systems architecture and comprehensive knowledge of multiple technical disciplines &#149; Assess corporate initiatives and manage reporting process for these initiatives Preferred Qualifications: &#149; Master&#146;s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline Primary Equipment (Technology) Used &#149; Network: Ethernet, and TCP/IP (Cisco 10/100/1000 Switches, Routers, Quality of Service, Cat 5 & 6e, Cisco Wireless), iPatch &#149; Computing Platforms: Intel-based PC&#146;s, Dell Servers, EMC storage, Taradata, VMWare EXS3 managed by Virtual Center v2 &#149; Operating Systems: Windows 2000/XP, Windows Server 2003, Linux Debian 4.0 Software: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, MS Project & Project Server, Visio, MS SharePoint, MS Foundations Server, FaxCore To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
